My Journey

More Than Your Average Web Developer

My journey goes beyond making websites for freelancers and small businesses. I have an affinity for working with all kinds of people from around the world across several industries. Here are some highlights from the last 10 years.

2016

Graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelors in Commerce while working as music manager at UCT Radio. Around the same time I started dabbling in website development as Shopify just came out.

2017

While working at my first fulltime job in performance marketing, I consulted for small businesses who were getting their start and I realised I wanted something bigger.

2018

I started my Master of International Business and got the opportunity to study in Dubai, Boston and New York while working remotely for a real estate company. Around the same time, I was doing digital marketing for a few startups.

2020

Freelancing fulltime during the pandemic and doing my part to help businesses transition from brick and mortar to something more flexible for the times - Digital.

2021

Joined a local startup doing international projects as a marketing strategist and over that time, grew into the head of digital marketing role. Still doing my part for small businesses and freelancers.

2024

Started working for one of the UK's largest IT companies, managing campaigns and finding new ways to level up.
